Ariel Gail
Professor Gail S. Goodman holds the Honorary Chair in Psychology within the University of California Davis and is the director of the Center for Public Policy Research. She is credited for starting contemporary research on children's memory of eyewitnesses and the use of child victims within court settings. Professor Goodman regularly publishes her work and has been awarded many grants and has been recognized with numerous award both international and national. She has collaborated with numerous authorities and organisations around the globe on research and policies relating to children who have been victims of the justice system. She is a consultant for the Special Assault Forensic Evaluation Center (formerly Multidisciplinary Interview Center) of the Sacramento County Child Protective Services. She is a former member of numerous professional associations for example, The Association for Psychological Science and American Psychological Association. (Divisions Experimental Psychology and Developmental Psychology Society for Children and Families policy and practice American Psychology Law Society Psychology of Women and Traumatic Stress 56) Professor Goodman is also a part of Psychonomics Society, the Psychonomics Society Society for Research in Child Development American Professional Society on the Abuse of Children (Founding Member) International Society for the prevention of child abuse and Neglect and the International Society for Traumatic Stress Studies. She has served as director of 3 divisions (Division Society for Child and Family Policy Practice Division and the Society for Child Policy American Law Society, and Division Developmental Psychology) and one Section (Child Maltreatment) of the American Psychological Association.
